mispa Technologies GmbH is an IT security service provider based in Langenfeld (Germany) and Cochin (India). We serve global corporations as well as mid-market customers and offer managed services in IT security and IT infrastructure services, project execution, technology services and security consulting as professional services.

Our IT Security Penetration Tester will be assigned to work with a variety of technologies, a committed and passionate global team and in a variety of exciting customer environments and projects.

Your responsibilities 

• Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on a range of systems, networks, and applications
• Developing and executing testing plans and methodologies
• Analyzing and reporting on test results, and providing recommendations for remediation
• Collaborating with other security professionals and stakeholders to ensure that testing is aligned with business needs and security goals.
• Staying up to date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies related to penetration testing and IT security in general.
• Participating in continuous improvement efforts to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our security testing services.

Our requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in penetration testing of a related field
• Being a real team player
• A strong understanding of network and system architecture, as well as common security vulnerabilities and exploits
• Familiarity with a range of security testing tools, e.g. Nessus, Metasploit, Nmap, and Burp Suite
• Experience conducting penetration tests in a variety of environments, including cloud, mobile, and web applications.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English (additionally German is an advantage), with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• A strong sense of professionalism and ethics, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the job.
• A relevant degree or certification in a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
